Students from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje together with some of the professors led by the Dean Daliborka Blazeska Assoc. Dr., and part of the academic staff the Zoran Strezovski Assoc. Dr., Dejan Nakovski MSc., Angela Milenkovska MSc. and Andrea Mackic MSc. conducted a one-day visit to the 31 th Tourism Fair "Philohenia" held in Thessaloniki.

The presenters of this fair promoted tourist destinations (the most common represented through their embassies and in Turkey, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Cyprus, India and of course the host Greece, then most hotel resorts of Greece, travel agencies and tour operators, transport companies and certainly companies that perform activities that are directly related to tourism.

The students from UTMS are acquainted with the way of the organization, placement and branding stands, the events that are taking place in order to attract visitors, then what tourism products promoted, how the different countries promote the hotels, tour operators, sales promotion and personal selling counters.

On the stand of Tunisia, the representative from the embassy make a 10 minute presentation of the tourist attractions ranging from the Tunisian history through the development of the attractive tourist destinations in Tunisia. On the stand of India the students had the opportunity to learn about the tourism attractions of India, which received from the representative of the embassy that were present at the fair.
